๐ซ Structural Network Medicine โ Pneumology
Why some drugs work, others don't โ and topology explains the difference.
This explorer presents structural fragility analyses of 5 respiratory disease signaling networks, covering 21 approved drugs. Each drug's molecular targets are mapped to the network topology to determine whether they hit structurally irreplaceable interactions (always-fragile) or redundant ones (solidified).
The Fragility Index (FI) = fraction of always-fragile edges. Higher FI โ more vulnerable network โ monotherapy more likely to work.
